Self-Care Challenge

Below are 31 self-care ideas to help you take care of your mental health. These are in no particular order and if you don't get to all of them that’s okay! (Save them for next month!) If you are interested, we put them into a calendar format and you can find that here.
- Watch your favorite movie
- Try guided meditation
- Do a face mask
- Sleep in (on a day you don’t have class in the morning)
- Have some tea (chamomile is a nice go-to)
- Diffuse essential oils*
- List five things you are grateful for
- Read a book for fun
- Go for a walk
- Watch a positive Ted Talk
- Listen to a new podcast*
- Write some positive affirmations
- Journal
- Yoga/Pilates
- Go out to lunch with some friends
- Color
- Listen to some throwback songs
- Clean out your inbox
- Organize your desk or dresser
- Call/text a good friend and just talk
- Play a board game with your friends
- Eat your favorite dessert
- Take a warm bath/shower
- Change your bedsheets
- Watch the sunset/sunrise
- Unplug from social media for at least two hours
- Practice deep breathing
- Write a letter to your future self
- Cooke/bake something from scratch
- Have a picnic
- Have a pajama party with your friends
*If you don’t have a diffuser try rubbing some essential oils on the inside of your wrist.
