FAU Points of Pride

There’s never been a more exciting time to be an Owl, and we invite you and your business to join the adventure! Our new Owl Perks Program lets local businesses like yours capitalize on your proximity to campus while helping to build a sense of pride, community spirit and support.

With every degree we confer, every discovery our researchers make and every community we touch, Florida Atlantic University is making a significant and growing impact on our world.

Today’s FAU is a vibrant, dynamic and thriving community of learners and leaders. Take a look at what and who we are:

    • FAU is the most diverse institution in Florida’s State University System. More than 50 percent of its 30,000 students are classified as minority or international.

    • Students can select a major from more than 170 degree programs, with courses taught by over 1,000 full-time faculty members.

    • In the fall of 2017, incoming freshman set a new FAU record with an average GPA of 3.97.

    • FAU’s College of Business was named one of the “Best Business Schools” by The Princeton Review.

    • The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Florida Atlantic University, located on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses, is the largest program of its kind in the United States.

    • FAU’s Brain Institute in Jupiter is now home to a Nikon Center of Excellence, making
it one of seven designated centers in the United States and 17 worldwide.

    • For seven consecutive years, FAU has been rated as “Military Friendly” by Victory Media, and for six consecutive years, has been ranked “Best for Vets” by Militarytimes.com.

    • The Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, located on the Jupiter campus, is the only full-immersion honors college in the nation that is part of a comprehensive research university.
