James Forgan
James Forgan, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Special Education. He earned his doctorate degree from the University of Miami. Prior to this he taught elementary and middle school students with learning disabilities and behavior disorders in the Miami Dade County Schools. He was also a behavior specialist supporting teachers working with students with behavior disorders. At FAU he teaches undergraduate and graduate classes on assessment, language development, IEPs, collaboration, teaching methods, and reading. Dr. Forgan has written eleven books that are published by national publishers.
