Meet the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Administrative Affairs of Florida Atlantic University
Stacy Volnick, PhD is the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Administrative Affairs. She is a member of the University’s Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the President.
Dr. Volnick oversees Florida Atlantic University’s Office of Administrative Affairs, which is committed to providing business and functional services that enhance the university experience for the FAU family and support the institution’s academic mission. The departments within Administrative Affairs are: Business Services, Facilities Management, University Police, Environmental Health and Safety, Human Resources, Emergency Management, Strategic Initiatives, President’s Office Operations, Board of Trustees Operations, Parking and Transportation, and the University Ombudsman. Dr. Volnick also provides administrative oversight of the Office of the Inspector General and the University Compliance Office. Additionally, she is responsible for the direction of the Eleanor R. Baldwin House, which is the President’s on-campus residence, and serves as the liaison to the FAU Board of Trustees.
Dr. Volnick is a long-time member of the FAU family with more than 25 years of higher education experience. She is a three-time alumna, having earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, a master’s degree in educational leadership and a doctoral degree in higher education leadership.
