Meet the BSW Program Coordinator 

Dr. Skinner-Osei is the program coordinator for the BSW program. She is a native South Floridian from Pompano Beach.  She has taught numerous courses across the BSW and MSW programs, including Profession of Social Work, Social Welfare Policy, Practice with Communities and Organizations, Global Perspectives of Social Services, and Research Methods. Her practice experience includes K-12 education, criminal justice institutions, persons experiencing homelessness and persons impacted by HIV/AIDS. Her research focuses on families impacted by the criminal justice system, specifically justice-involved African American men and trauma-informed care for justice-involved youth.
