Welcome Back, Owls!

Welcome back, Owls! I hope everyone had an enjoyable winter break and is ready for the start of classes. We have much to look forward to in the Spring 2023 semester, beginning with Florida Atlantic University’s Red & Blue Weeks, taking place today through Jan. 13; the public opening of the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute on the Jupiter campus; the College of Business’ 29^th annual Business Leader of the Year breakfast; and the Alan B. and Charna Larkin Symposium on the American Presidency , featuring special guests Laura and Barbara Bush.

The FAU men’s basketball team also is currently celebrating a 13-game winning streak, recording the second-longest active winning streak in the country after achieving victory against Charlotte on Saturday. I encourage everyone in the Owl community to cheer the team on as they compete at FIU on Jan. 11, as well as their next home game against North Texas on Jan. 14.

Together, we will make this a semester to remember! Go Owls!
