Welcome to the new academic year, Owls!

I hope you had the chance to recharge and enjoy yourself this summer before gearing up for a robust fall semester. Following a period of unprecedented achievements for Florida Atlantic, we are thrilled to continue our advancement with you.

To kick off the new academic year, the University is hosting its annual Red and Blue Weeks events, this week and next, on the Boca Raton, Broward and Jupiter campuses. From social activities to educational sessions, these events are designed to welcome new students and bring our community together.

Looking ahead, we anticipate an exciting season of Football in Paradise as the Owls compete in the American Athletic Conference under the new leadership of Hagerty Family Head Coach Tom Herman. The first home football game of the season is Saturday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. and I hope to see you at FAU Stadium cheering on the team.

Together, we are leading Florida Atlantic into a new era of excellence and I am proud that you are part of it. I extend my sincere wishes to all for a fantastic and rewarding first week of classes.
