FAU Recognized as a Top University by ‘U.S. News & World Report’

I am thrilled to share that Florida Atlantic has been recognized among the nation’s best colleges by U.S. News & World Report, ranking No. 112 on its list of “Top Public Schools” for 2024. Our jump from No. 131 last year marks the largest advancement of all Florida public universities for the second year in a row. FAU also was ranked No. 209 for “Top National Schools,” up from No. 262 last year.

In other rankings, Florida Atlantic rose to No. 26 in the “Social Mobility” category, which is based on graduation rates of students who receive Pell grants, and includes both public and private universities. Additionally, several of our undergraduate programs were highly ranked, including international business at No. 22, nursing at No. 133, engineering at No. 150 and business at No. 159.

The Florida Atlantic faculty, staff and students have worked incredibly hard to reach new levels of excellence. It’s an honor to see our efforts reflected in this year’s rankings as we continue to innovate and expand while ensuring success for all.
