Observing Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Monday, January 15, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In observance of this federal holiday, Florida Atlantic will be closed.

Each year, the University honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special day of service. This year, students will volunteer with In Jacob’s Shoes®, an organization dedicated to providing shoes, backpacks, school supplies and athletic gear to children in need throughout South Florida.
