Celebrating the Fourth Straight Winning Season for FAU Men’s Basketball

Congratulations to the FAU men’s basketball team for finishing its fourth consecutive winning season! Led by head coach Dusty May, these past four seasons have ended above .500, which sets a new program record.

During the 2021-2022 season, we also saw fans returning to cheer our players on in-person. Rising confidently to the occasion, the Owls broke two additional school records by winning 10 straight home games and racking up the most points scored in a single season, 2,442.

For their incredible athletic triumphs throughout the season, two FAU players received special honors. Alijah Martin, who led the team in 3-point percentage and steals, was named All-Conference USA Third Team. Michael Forrest, who scored a season-high 27 points in a victory at Marshall, was named the All-CUSA Honorable Mention and Second Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Closing out the regular season with an 11-7 conference record, the team achieved its best finish in C-USA. We are so proud of the team’s remarkable accomplishments, and we look forward to celebrating another winning season in 2023!
