Memorial Day Observed on Monday, May 25

On Monday, May 25, FAU will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. This is a day to remember the brave men and women in our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard our rights and freedoms.
While this is the first long weekend for many of us since January, I know our plans for the extra day off may be very different than what they were in years past. Many parks, beaches and local businesses have reopened, but social distancing is still recommended and face coverings are still required in many public settings.
For our students who need assistance over the long weekend, several of FAU’s offices will remain open virtually. Whatever your plans are for the holiday, I hope that you remain safe and healthy, and have a pleasant weekend.
