FAU Named Fulbright HSI Leader
Monday, Nov 04, 2024I am proud to share that Florida Atlantic has been named a 2024 Fulbright Hispanic-Serving Institution Leader by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The announcement was made Sunday, Nov. 3, at the annual HACU conference for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities in Colorado. It is an honor to receive this distinction for the second year in a row, highlighting our achievements in global research and cross-cultural partnerships.
Florida Atlantic was recognized as an HSI Leader for demonstrating strong engagement with the Fulbright Program, which is the U.S. government’s flagship international exchange program. The University’s Fulbright Award recipients and visiting Fulbright Scholars play an important role in enriching faculty research and enabling global collaborations across disciplines.
At Florida Atlantic, we take great pride in advancing the Fulbright Program’s mission to increase scholarly understanding between the U.S. and other nations.
