FAU Harbor Branch-MANG Partnership Will Benefit Our Oceans

This week, FAU’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute announced an exciting partnership with West Palm Beach-based apparel company MANG®. MANG has launched a special Ocean Science collection and will donate 10 percent of collection sale proceeds to FAU Harbor Branch. The collection features three exclusive designs as a tribute to the institute’s key research areas of ocean and human health; aquaculture innovation and food security; technological innovation and national defense; and marine ecosystem conservation.
MANG is an ideal partner for FAU Harbor Branch, as it shares our commitment to restoration, education and ocean sustainability. Under MANG’s “Buy One Plant One” initiative, the company plants one mangrove tree along a coastline for every apparel item sold. To date, MANG has planted more than 350,000 mangroves in Florida, the Bahamas, Honduras and Africa.
