Celebrating First and Proud Week

In honor of the annual National First-Generation College Celebration on Tuesday, November 8, Florida Atlantic University’s Office of First-Generation Student Success is kicking off an exciting week of events and activities for First & Proud Week 2022. Today through November 10, programming includes a panel discussion from first-generation graduates, an on-campus exploration event for high school students, an honors society induction ceremony and more. With about one-third of FAU’s total enrollment comprised of first-generation college students, we are very proud to be an institution that breaks down barriers to higher education and enables generational change.
