Football in Paradise Continues on Saturday

Following an exciting win for the Owls at last week’s season opener, Football in Paradise will continue this Saturday, Sept. 9, as Florida Atlantic competes against Ohio University. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at FAU Stadium.

Highlights from the Owls’ first game in the American Athletic Conference included five touchdowns by quarterback Casey Thompson, seven tackles by linebacker Jackson Ambush and a key interception by linebacker Jarrett Jerrels. We are thrilled with the team’s successful start under the new leadership of Hagerty Family Head Coach Tom Herman and look forward to many more wins this season.

For Saturday’s game, Florida Atlantic has partnered with Boca Helping Hands and Cereal4All to help Tackle Hunger in our community. To participate, drop off one or more boxes of cereal at Gate 1 on game day to receive free entry. I encourage the entire FAU community to support our Owls and local food banks through this initiative.

As a reminder, students receive free entry to all home football games and can claim their tickets here. All other ticket purchases, including season tickets, can be made here.
