FAU Launches New Intercampus Shuttle Route

Need a ride to Florida Atlantic University’s Jupiter campus from the Boca Raton campus? Have no fear – there is now a free mode of transportation to get you there. Beginning Monday, March 13, the University’s new intercampus shuttle bus will drive students from the Boca campus to the John D. MacArthur campus in Jupiter.
“This complimentary and convenient shuttle route will enhance the lives of so many of our students who travel back and forth between both campuses,” said Stacy Volnick, FAU’s vice president for administrative affairs and chief administrative officer.
The new route will operate Monday through Friday and will commence from the Boca Raton campus’ Administration Building (AD 10) and arrive at the Jupiter campus Research Facility (MC 17 and MC 19). The shuttles also are equipped with wireless Internet to allow students to be more productive during their travel.
Shuttle buses will run on the following schedule each day:
- 9 a.m. – Boca Raton to Jupiter
- 10:45 a.m. – Jupiter to Boca Raton
- 2 p.m. – Boca Raton to Jupiter
- 3:15 p.m. – Jupiter to Boca Raton
