Professor Receives Distance Learning Higher Education Award

Binu Pundir, Ph.D. recently received the Innovative Leader in Distance Learning Higher Education award. The award was presented at the Florida Distance Learning Association annual conference. Pundir is an adjunct professor in the Department of Ocean and Mechanical Engineering. She received the award because of her innovative use of technology within her courses, including incorporating SKIES, a teaching and collaboration tool, to build engagement.
