A.D. Henderson Ranks Among the Best in the State by Niche

Florida Atlantic University’s A.D. Henderson University School (ADHUS) is ranked the No. 3 “Best School” among both elementary and middle schools in the state of Florida according to Niche for 2025.
Niche – the largest website for researching public and private K-12 schools – also ranked FAU High School at No. 3 in Florida and No. 20 nationally in the “Best College Prep Public High School” rankings.
Florida Atlantic Laboratory Schools faculty members are also ranked among Florida public schools, taking the No. 2 spot in the state for “Best Middle School Teachers” and “Best High School Teachers,” as well as No. 3 for “Best Elementary School Teachers.”
“This incredible achievement is a testament to our students’ unwavering dedication, hard work and passion,” said Joel Herbst, Ed.D, superintendent of PK-12 schools at FAU. “Recognitions and rankings like this are evidence of the very best learning environments and experiences our educators create for all our students.”
Niche examines thousands of K-12 schools across the United States and ranks them based on a variety of factors. For 2025, Henderson received an A+ overall Niche grade, as well as A+ marks in the areas of administration, academics, diversity, college prep and teachers.
