Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Program (S-STEM)
This is a four-year, $1 million award from the National Science Foundation for a project to make the master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) accessible to high-achieving, low-income students.
What is the S-STEM SCHOLARS Program?
All qualified engineering students, from all departments and programs, may apply to receive financial assistance of up to $10,000 per year towards a bachelor's degree (in their current field) and a master's degree in Artificial intelligence. This is a combined BS/MS program. The financial support will start in the sophomore/junior year and will continue through completion of the masters.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Students must demonstrate financial need and be classified as such by Department of Education Title III guidelines
- All engineering students, from all departments and programs, with sophomore, junior or senior standing
- A GPA of 3.00 and above
- Interest in pursuing a Masters in Artificial Intelligence as an extension to the bachelor's degree in your respective field (combined BS/MS program with 9 credits double counted)
