Other research interests include the Southern underground press movement of the Civil Rights Era and developing open-access digitization projects. Suzanne holds an MA in English from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
