Celebrating the Class of 2020

Today we will begin celebrating the graduation of the largest fall class in FAU history. Since we still are unable to gather in person, we have planned a virtual celebration to recognize the accomplishments of these students, including pre-recorded, on-demand ceremonies for each college. The ceremony videos are available on the college pages of our special website, along with student and faculty videos, a social media feed and more.

I encourage our graduates, as well as their friends and families, to share their celebration photos or favorite FAU memories with us on social media by using #FAUgrad so that we can celebrate together virtually.

Commencement is a fundamental component of the educational experience and it remains my long-term goal to invite all our fall graduates to return for an in-person ceremony when health and safety guidelines permit. They worked hard and deserve the opportunity to enjoy the pomp and circumstance of a traditional commencement.
