What an exciting year for FAU! A few highlights of 2016 include: named the top-performing school in the state by the Florida Board of Governors, celebrating our second class of physicians to graduate from the Schmidt College of Medicine, one of only seven schools nationwide with both baseball and softball teams ranked in the top 25, inducting our second class of alumni into the Majestic Owls Society, beginning the makeover of our Breezeway, receiving millions of dollars in gifts and research grants, and welcoming a number of superstars to our faculty and staff.

I’d like to thank all our students, faculty and staff for your hard work this year, and our alumni and friends for your ongoing support of FAU. We are well on our way to making FAU “America’s fastest improving university,” as we head into 2017 with Unbridled Ambition™.
