While we all enjoy the holidays, the end of the year is an especially hectic time for university students. There are papers to be written, projects to be finished, final exams to be taken and a lot of loose ends to tie up.
It’s very important to manage stress, and FAU is ready, willing and able to help. For some stress-busting tips, visit the Owls Care Health Promotion website. Check out the Stress Oasis in the Owls Care office, where you can get free stress balls, biodot stress detectors, aromatherapy and more. Go to the campus rec center for a workout. Spend time in the Serenity Room in the Office of Diversity & Multicultural Affairs. Enjoy the midnight breakfasts that are held around finals time on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses. If these stress-reducers don’t work for you, contact the Office of Counseling & Psychological Services for some personal attention. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help.
Remember that everyone at FAU wants to help you deal successfully with the pressure that develops at the end of every semester. Keep calm and stay focused.
Go Owls!
