Congratulations to the women’s soccer team on winning their second consecutive Conference USA Regular Season title! The Owls ended the season with an impressive 14-3-1 record, marking the first time since 2005 that the team reached 14 wins. The regular season title is the fifth ever for the Owls, following last year’s co-championship, and Atlantic Sun trophies in 2002, 2003 and 2005. The team is now ranked No. 23 nationally in the NCAA Women’s Soccer RPI rankings.

Next, the Owls head to Denton, Texas for the 2019 C-USA Championship, where they are the No. 1 seed. They will face No. 8 seed Louisiana Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 6. I am very proud of this team team and wish them the best of luck in Denton. Go Owls!
