Nothing tops Homecoming, and this year Homecoming Week offers more entertainment than ever before. A wide variety of events will take place on the Boca, Davie, Dania Beach, downtown Fort Lauderdale and Jupiter campuses, culminating on Saturday, Nov. 1, when the Owls meet the UAB Blazers in FAU Stadium. 

That’s also the day when we’ll welcome thousands of Broward County high school students and their parents to the Boca campus to attend an expo where they’ll discover the world of educational opportunity that awaits them at FAU. Five of the visiting students will be awarded $6,000 freshman-year scholarships at a drawing during the game. If you know any Broward high school students who might like to come to the expo, please direct them to www.fau.edu/expo.

We held a similar event last weekend for Palm Beach County schools, which was a huge success. We expect our next expo to be just as exciting.
