Homecoming is underway here at FAU, and we have a full schedule of events planned to celebrate this year’s theme, “Owlstock.” The celebration began last Friday with the Annual Drag Show and continues this week with the comedy show, ExtravaCANza Canned Food Sculpture Contest, Day of Service, OwlFest concert, and Talon Leadership Awards. We also will welcome back alumni from the Class of 1969 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their graduation from FAU.
On Friday, Oct. 18, we’ll close out homecoming week with a football game against Marshall. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. The Owls are 2-0 in conference play and 4-2 overall. We need all fans to come out for this important conference game and cheer the team on to another victory. Click here for information about purchasing tickets. To help alleviate traffic on and around campus, and to promote campus safety for all students, faculty, staff and game-day visitors, offices on the Boca Raton campus will close at 2 p.m. on Friday. Classes scheduled for early afternoon on the Boca Raton campus will continue, with no classes extending past 2 p.m. All other FAU campuses will operate on regular schedules.
