Students who attend Florida Atlantic University have so many options to immerse themselves in learning, research and a wide array of student activities. We also have a beautiful football stadium and exciting football team. I frequently refer to many of these as FAU’s hidden jewels.

We’ve decided to share these gems with the area’s parents and children by hosting two expos for high school students prior to home football games — Oct. 18 for Palm Beach County students and Nov. 1 for Broward County students. These two days present an opportunity to inform thousands of potential FAU students about our great university. 

Our 10 academic colleges and various offices will be present to answer questions on topics ranging from the classroom experience, to admissions, financial aid, athletics and residential education, and many more.

High school students attending the expos receive free admissions to the football games in FAU Stadium, and tickets are available at a discounted rate for parents, guardians and family members. Students who register and are in attendance at the games will have the chance to win one of 10 FAU freshman year scholarships.

Please help spread the word about these exciting events, and I encourage you to bring as many family and friends as possible.
