FAU is seeking the brightest high school sophomores in our area for the inaugural class of the FAU Max Planck Academy. Announced last fall with our partners at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience and Max Planck Germany, the Academy will give high school juniors and seniors the unique opportunity to study and work alongside scientists from the preeminent neuroscience research institute in the world.
A great way for prospective Owls and their families to learn more about the FAU Max Planck Academy is by attending one of our upcoming open houses in the Max Planck Academy Building (HM) on our John D. MacArthur Campus in Jupiter. Open houses are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3 from 6 to 7 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.; and Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 7 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet our staff, learn about the programs and admission process, and ask questions.
