The start of the fall semester is one of my favorite days of the year. There’s a sense of excitement in the air as our students return to campus, ready to begin a new academic year.

This fall, I’m looking forward to cheering on our student-athletes, hearing Daymond John speak on Sept. 8, tailgating before home football games, congratulating our Class of ’66 Majestic Owls on the 50th anniversary of their graduation from FAU, celebrating homecoming, and so much more.

I hope you will make the most of this year – engage in research, seek out new experiences, dedicate yourself to learning, and of course, have fun.
