Congratulations to FAU High seniors Hannah Goldman-Daleo, Crayton J. Hudspeth, Mohammed Khan and Ryan A. Scupp, who were named National Merit Scholars! They are among the 7,500 high school seniors who were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) for academic excellence. This year, the NMSC awarded more than
$31 million in undergraduate scholarships to talented students nationwide.
Rebecca Urbonas from Sunlake High School in Land O’ Lakes, Fla. also was named a winner and has chosen FAU as her sponsor college. Students from other high schools who were named finalists and have selected FAU as their sponsor college include Amanda Balash, Vineet Reddy, Charles Shi and Justin Xie.
It is an extraordinary achievement to be a National Merit Scholar. We are very proud that FAU High was able to contribute to Hannah, Crayton, Mohammed and Ryan’s academic success. We also look forward to welcoming Rebecca, Amanda, Vineet, Charles and Justin to campus soon.
Go Owls!
