FAU Tech Runway^® recently selected its largest class to date – Venture Class 6 – at the annual Launch Competition. The 21 winners will join our year-long program, which provides them with work space and other resources; mentoring; networking opportunities; and training in customer development, pitching skills, capital raising and other subjects critical to entrepreneurial success. The top seven companies in the Launch Competition also received a $15,000 investment check.

The 52 companies that graduated from FAU Tech Runway over the past three years created nearly 300 new jobs with an average salary of more than $63,000 and earned more than $23 million in revenue. We are very proud of positive economic impact Tech Runway has on our community. I look forward to hearing about the successes of our newest class of entrepreneurs.
