This morning, FAU hosted a press conference to formally introduce our new vice president and director of athletics, Brian White. He was joined by his wife, Paige and daughter, Callahan, along with his father, Kevin, who is Duke University’s vice president and director of athletics and his brother, Danny, who is vice president and director of athletics at the University of Central Florida. Brian’s oldest brother, Mike, is the head men’s basketball coach at the University of Florida.

Brian previously served as senior associate athletics director and deputy athletics director for external relations at the University of Missouri. He has a great vision for athletics at FAU, which he summed up with the phrase “win it right.” His plans include enhancing the student-athlete experience, growing resources, improving facilities and strengthening our family and community-oriented culture. I look forward to FAU Athletics’ growth under Brian’s leadership.
