Yesterday heralded a new era for FAU football as 24 talented players signed National Letters of Intent to become Owls. They joined three players enrolled in January, giving us the most promising line-up of newcomers in FAU history.
The class includes six players from Palm Beach County – the highest concentration of local high school stand-outs since the Owls’ inaugural class in 2000. Five players are from Broward and three are from Miami-Dade. Others come from around Florida and from Wisconsin, Mississippi and Illinois. Positions include quarterback, tight end, fullback, defensive lineman, running back, linebacker, offensive lineman, defensive back and wide receiver. The full list is posted here.
It’s going to be an exciting 2015 season as FAU hosts six home games when we welcome Miami, Buffalo, Rice, Marshall, FIU and Middle Tennessee to FAU Stadium. You can see the full schedule here.
Congratulations to Coach Charlie Partridge on recruiting a stellar 2015 class! Go Owls!
