FAU will celebrate the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. all week with a series of events focused on diversity and social justice issues. Dr. King remains an inspiration to our nation and to people around the world who struggle for equality, as well as those who use their voices to influence positive social change.

Yesterday, students and staff participated in a day of service by volunteering at several local nonprofit organizations. Other events taking place this week include a health fair, movie screening and special address by guest speaker Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the former mayor of Baltimore.
