I recently shared the sad news that founding faculty member and Vice President Emeritus Robert Huckshorn passed away at the age of 90. A memorial service and reception to celebrate his life will take place in the Great Hall of the Marleen and Harold Forkas Alumni Center on the Boca Raton campus on Thursday, Jan. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. The first hour will be devoted to the service and the second hour to the reception.

All members of the university community are welcome to attend this event and join in celebrating Dr. Huckshorn’s many contributions to the growth of FAU during the course of his 38-year career as a faculty member and administrator.
