At FAU, we take great pride in providing educational opportunities for students of all ages. One way we do that is through the Lifelong Learning Society (LLS), which was established on the Boca Raton campus in 1980 to offer educational programs for adults in our community. The curriculum includes noncredit courses in a variety of fields, from politics to the arts, taught by FAU professors and distinguished guest lecturers; as well as educational travel opportunities, concerts and other entertainment.
In 1997, the successful LLS program expanded to northern Palm Beach County, and this year we are proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of LLS Jupiter. With 20,000 patrons enrolled on our Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses, FAU’s LLS is one of the largest and most successful programs of its kind in the country.
