Today, we welcome our students back to campus for the start of the spring semester. I hope everyone is refreshed from the winter break and ready to make it a great year.

This spring, I'm looking forward to some wonderful events, including the Business Leader of the Year Award Ceremony; the annual President’s Gala, which raises funds for student scholarships; the Alumni Hall of Fame and Distinguished Alumni of the Colleges ceremony and reception; many fine arts performances and exhibits; and cheering on our student-athletes at sporting events.

2017 was a banner year for FAU. We’re well on our way to becoming America's fastest-improving university, and working together, 2018 will be our best year ever.
