I'm looking forward to some great events this semester, including raising funds for student scholarships at the annual gala, celebrating our Alumni Hall of Fame inductee and Distinguished Alumni of the Colleges, hearing from some of the university's greatest minds at our Undergraduate Research Symposium and Business Plan Competition, and cheering on our student-athletes, including our defending conference champion baseball and softball teams.
FAU grew by leaps and bounds in 2016, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our students, faculty, staff and friends in the community. We're well on our way to becoming America's next great university and working together, we will surely reach that goal.
