Happy New Year, and welcome back to our faculty and staff! I hope everyone had an enjoyable winter break.

2017 ended on a high note for FAU, as we celebrated our largest fall graduating class in university history, announced an exciting new undergraduate program in partnership with the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience, and our football team won the Conference USA championship and the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl.

I appreciate everyone’s hard work last year, and look forward to celebrating many more successes in 2018.
