The “Interfaith Symposium 2008” will provide an opportunity for cross-cultural and interfaith dialogue between guests. This peace building event will help educate attendees about the growing trend of hate crimes and religious discrimination occurring in South Florida, and inform the audience about the consequences of these issues.
Rev James Eaton, Rabbi Zev Katz and Imam Sayfayet Mohamed will make up the panel that will debate these issues, as well as lead a town hall discussion with attendees to develop community solutions for religious discrimination and hate crimes in their own communities.
