Advising

Please contact your music department advisors to arrange an advising session. Every music major should meet with their degree advisor AND performance area advisor once a semester. Your degree advisor will advise you on core and specialty music courses. Your performance area advisor will advise you on applied lessons and assign you a primary ensemble. After you have met with your music department advisors, please make an advising appointment with University Advising (if you have 0 to 30 credits) or Arts and Letters Advising (if you have 30 to 120 credits), who can help you determine your IFPs (general education courses).

Before your final semester begins, please contact Associate Chair, Dr. Stacie Lee Rossow, to complete your degree audit.
