What sets FAU apart from the rest?
Florida Atlantic University is one of the nation’s most premier higher education institutions. Florida Atlantic is rapidly growing and continues to serve as a leader in serving our Veterans and Military. With over 30,000 students the university has multiple campuses that serve beautiful South Florida (Broward and Palm Beach Counties). The main campus in Boca Raton is 850 acre site that’s only a few miles away from the beach. There are endless opportunities for students in the Universities surrounding areas during and post-graduation with West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami close by.
Florida Atlantic University currently serves over 1000 Veterans, dependents, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve members in undergraduate, graduate and Doctoral students; and this number is rapidly growing. Florida Atlantic is also part of a large ROTC Battalion that shapes the next generation of Military Leaders and provides opportunities continue serving. Florida currently is the home 1.6 million Veterans and in South Florida alone have two major VA Hospitals; West Palm Beach VA Medical Center and Miami VA Medical Center.
FAU also offers Veteran, Military and dependent students the support they need to be successful on and off campus. We also have a Veteran student organization called the Veteran Owls; they provide Vet to Vet support and create the comradery that Veterans look for. FAU is committed to the men and women that serve our nation and protect freedom.
