COURSE
DESCRIPTION: |
Discusses contemporary
issues confronting the nursing profession. Investigates methods to
advocate for patients and the profession. Explores the profession���s impact on the dynamic evolution of
healthcare. Emphasizes professional skills, such as portfolio development,
interviewing, peer evaluation and the advancement of nursing���s role. Also considers professional issues
related to self-care of the nurse, such as work-life balance, healthy work
environments and resource assistance in building a nursing career.
