Gabriel T. Cesar is an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University and a Guardian ad Litem for Palm Beach County. Gabriel’s research interests include violence, juvenile justice, and youth development, particularly at the intersection of social work and criminology. His work has appeared in academic journals including Children & Youth Services Review and Youth Violence & Juvenile Justice, as well as edited volumes “The Oxford Handbook of Offender Decision Making” and “Doing Ethnography in Criminology: Discovery through Fieldwork.”
