Sigal Rubin Named Learning Assistant Faculty Mentor

Sigal Rubin, MSCCJ, senior instructor, associate undergraduate coordinator and field experience coordinator in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, has been selected as a 2024 Learning Assistant (LA) Program Faculty Mentor as part of the Florida Atlantic University Quality Enhancement Plan. In this role, Rubin will guide and support course redesigns and mentor new LA faculty on in-class practice/active learning segments, as well as facilitate weekly prep meetings. 

“The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice is incredibly proud that Sigal has been selected to help other faculty members at Florida Atlantic incorporate learning assistants into their classrooms,” said Ryan Meldrum, PhD, interim school director and professor. “Her selection is a testament to her leadership and ability to inspire others.”
