Now Hiring Two New Faculty: Applications Due Oct 21
Friday, Sep 06, 2024The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice is recruiting two new faculty members to join our college family:
- Assistant Professor in Criminology and Criminal Justice with research and teaching expertise in either (a) victimology (e.g., human trafficking) or (b) forensics (e.g., crime scene analytics, digital forensics). Exceptional candidates will engage in research or instructional activities that cross disciplinary boundaries (e.g., neuroscience, public health, psychology, genetics, education, public policy) or incorporate emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, social network analysis, virtual reality) to strengthen science, practice, and our communities.
- Assistant/Associate Professor in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a research agenda (a) informed by emerging technologies in criminology and criminal justice (e.g., artificial intelligence, social network analysis, virtual reality) that ensure security, privacy, and the protection of civil rights; improve safety and community relations; and/or foster innovation in research and practice, or (b) crosses disciplinary boundaries (e.g., neuroscience, public health, psychology, genetics, education, public policy) to develop integrated knowledge for advancing research and addressing societal challenges.
