Interning and engaging in professional and meaningful projects students have the opportunity to find a career path that best suits them. Recently, eleven students had the pleasure of having lunch with President John Kelly. These students have all participated in either an on-campus or off-campus internship and are pursuing various majors in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters, the College of Business, the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, the College for Design and Social Inquiry, and the College of Engineering and Computer Science. President Kelly, Dr. Corey King and the students had the opportunity to exchange in dialogue about each of their internships. Things they like and dislike, what they look forward to doing in their future and what faculty and staff members have mentored them along the way. This opportunity allowed for them to hear first-hand experiences and advice from President Kelly as well as an open platform to ask him questions. This is just one of the few opportunities that President Kelly gets to meet face to face with students and hear about their journey. Students looking for internship opportunities should get connected with the FAU Career Center visit the website or email them for more information.
