Welcome National Merit Scholars

For the first time Florida Atlantic University is happy to have implemented a Scholars Program within the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. This Fall we welcomed nine National Merit Scholars in the program who will be receiving a full ride, with awards that add up to the cost of attendance. President Kelly has also offered the new students a Presidential Research Grant, which offers them $3000 to put toward research or other scholarly activities. Tracy Boulukos (with the support of Dr. King and the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management) was instrumental in FAU receiving School Sponsor status with the National Merit Corporation who helped operationalize a directive from the President. The Scholars Program staff are dedicated to the recruitment and success of the students within the program.
