Basic Clinical Skills for Pre-Health
Monday October 10th through Friday November 11th
The purpose of this Continuing Education course is to provide students with basic clinical skills that will ensure meaningful medical experiences (through shadowing or volunteering) prior to entering a health-related graduate program (medical, dental, pharmacy, physician assistant, veterinary, physical therapy, podiatry, and optometry).
Course Information
Students will have the opportunity to complete CPR certification. Learn Blood Pressure skills, patient care and history, Vital signs, Blood Borne Pathogens, HIPAA training, and common medical errors, and recognize how the 12 lead ECG relates to the areas of the heart.
Basic Clinical Skills is only open to FAU students at a cost of $125
