The goal of the National Science Foundation's (NSF) ADVANCE program is to increase the representation and advancement of women and underrepresented minorities (URMs) in academic science and engineering careers, thereby developing a more diverse science and engineering workforce.
STRIDE
(Strategies and Tactics to Improve Diversity and Excellence)
The goal of this committee improves the search process by disseminating information on best practices for diversity and excellence through workshops geared towards providing information as well as advice on practices to promote inclusivity.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
The goal of the committee is to nurture a teaching, learning, and research environment where diversity, equity, and inclusion are highly valued and respected. The initiatives led by the committee will strive to promote and advance diversity and inclusion within and around the college and create a platform to facilitate dialogues and communication on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
